Restore It is a small, local, family-owned appliance business based in St. George, Utah. What started as a simple project for our family has grown into a business that we’re proud to continue building together.
How It Started
It all started with a washer and dryer we bought off Facebook Marketplace that didn’t work.
My dad had experience with appliances from growing up and working alongside his own dad, so he already knew his way around this kind of work. He and my brother started working on appliances together, and what began as a way to fix up and restore machines quickly grew into something much bigger.
As things started taking off, the rest of the family became involved too. Whenever my brothers or I were between jobs, we would come work with Dad and help with the business.
Eventually, I started my own side of the business focused on current-model Scratch & Dent appliances. I got into this because of what my dad had already built and the experience I gained working alongside him. What started as another part of the family business has grown into a business of its own.
Today, my dad continues to focus on the used and restored appliance side, while I run the Scratch & Dent side. Although we operate as separate businesses, we work closely together, share knowledge and resources, and help each other wherever we can. One of my brothers has even left his previous job to work in the business full-time as everything has continued to grow.
More Than Just Appliances
What makes this special to us is that it really is a family business.
We work together every day to find, test, restore, repair, and sell appliances. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into what we do, but there are also plenty of laughs and good family moments along the way.
Even though we each have our own part of the business, we’re still a family working together toward the same goal: helping customers find affordable appliance options and providing services they can rely on.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. From the customers who gave us a chance when we were just getting started, to the clients who continue to come back, refer friends and family, and share their experiences with others—we wouldn’t be where we are today without you.
What started with one broken washer and dryer has grown into something much bigger than we ever expected. We’re proud to be building it together as a family and excited to keep growing and serving our community.
